Good morning!
いつのまにか帰国まであと一週間となりました。
帰国するのが寂しい様な、嬉しい様な。
Before I realized it, there's only one week left.
Part of me wants to go back to Japan and part of me wants to stay in the UK.
今朝は食欲がなかったので昨日買ったブラウニーを一つだけ食べました。
ジョンもトライフルやヨーグルトだけで済ませた様です。
I wasn't hungry this morning so I just had one of the brownies I bought yesterday.
John had his usual trifle and yoghurt.
今日は予定通りノッティングヒル・カーニバルへ！
Today, we're going to the Notting Hill Carnival!
一番近い駅は封鎖されていると言うので、次に近い駅、クイーンズウェイ駅へ。
少しでも公園を歩こうと、ハイドパークに入る。
The stations near the carnival were closed so we got off at Queensway
and walked along the top of Hyde Park.
またしてもいい天気！そしてまた暑い！
The weather was lovely and hot!
公園を抜けると色々なお店が。
We passed some interesting shops on the way.
またチャリティーショップの本コーナーに吸い込まれるジョン。John got sucked into another charity shop.
だんだんと賑やかになってきました。
The streets became more and more crowded.
写真は、iPhoneで撮ったものと、
一眼レフのカメラで撮ったものが混同しております。
I took some of these photos with my i-phone and some with my camera.
みんなやってると、自分もやりたくなる。
ディズニーランドにおけるネズミの耳の如し。
£3も出して買う。
I couldn't resist buying one of these garlands for £3.
パレードを見るために道端に座る。

ここで見たパレードは小規模でしたので、ビデオ割愛いたします。
The parade was not so big at that point so I didn't add any videos that I took.

このクロワッサン、ジョン史上最低の味だったそうです…
John was hungry so he bought a croissant.
Unfortunately, it was one of the worst he's ever had.
映画「ノッティングヒルの恋人」の本屋さんのモデルになった本屋。
実際に撮影された本屋は近くにあったのですが、
わざわざ行くのが面倒になり、撮影はしませんでした。
The bookshop in the movie "Notting Hill" was based on this bookshop.
The bookshop used in the movie was quite near but we didn't go to it.
ここも「ノッティングヒルの恋人」で撮影された、
マーケットが開催される道。
This is Portobello Road where the famous antique market is held.
長いので4分過ぎて位から見るといいかもです。
こんな感じのことが、街のいたるところで見られます。
This should give you an idea of the atmosphere.
お腹が空いたので、私の大好きなジャマイカのソウルフード、
ジャークチキンを食べました。スパイシーで美味しいんですよ！
We were hungry so we bought some jerk chicken, the soulfood of Jamaica.
It was spicy and very tasty!
ちょっと刺激が強いかな？
この後もさらに強烈なビデオありますよ〜！

本当にみんな楽しんでいます、

チラ見で帰ろうと思ったこのカーニバル、
楽しくて結構長居してしまいました。
We didn't intend to stay very long but it was so much fun we spent quite a while there.
疲れてしまったので、パブで一休みしようと、運河沿いを歩いていると、
ボートに乗っていたワンちゃんが運河に飛び込んでしまいました！
We began to feel a bit tired and, walking along the canal in search of a pub,
we saw a dog jump out of a boat into the water.
救出劇のビデオです。
たまたま近くにいたお兄さんがワンちゃんを捕まえてくれました！
よかったね、飼い主さん！

THE ALICE HOUSE
やっと見つけたパブ。
（カーニバルの地域のパブは全て閉まっていたのです）
We finally found a pub.
(All the pubs in the carnival zone were closed)
さすがに今日は暑くて喉が渇いていたので、パイントで飲みました。
The heat had made me thirsty so I had a pint.
パブを出たあと、勢いで22日目に行ったお寿司屋さんに
地下鉄を乗り継いで行きました。
After that, we decided to go to the sushi restaurant near the Angel tube we'd visited recently.
味は本当に日本で食べるのと同じです、頑張ってますね。
The food in this place is really good.
帰りにスーパーに寄って宿に戻りました。
As usual, we hit a superkmarket on the way back.
そしてジョンは8時前には寝てしまいました、
でもそのあと、2、3度起きて、何か食べたり飲んだりしてましたよw
John crashed out before 8pm.
Later, he got up a few times and ate something.
明日はジョンの同級生のお家にお招きされたので行ってきま〜す！
Tomorrow, we're going to visit one of John's friends.
また明日！
